Global Missions captures the heart of Riverside Community Church.

Riverside reaches the lost with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, taking Christ's Great Commission seriously, in the United States and across the world.

Riverside plans many international trips each year so that everyone has a chance to share his/her time, talents, and treasures to fulfill the call of Jesus.

As we reach out, we accomplish three significant objectives:

First, we meet real needs in the lives of the world's hurting people.

Second, every team member experiences a new spiritual awareness as a result of what they have seen and experienced during the project.

Third, our local church is revitalized through the excitement, spiritual energy and renewed visions of returning team members.

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."
Mark 16:15

"If you ask me, I will give you the nations; all the people on earth will be yours."
Psalm 2:8

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16

"This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world.  It is changing lives everywhere, just as it changed yours."
Colossians 1:6

This boat will be our home and operations base for the time we are on the river. We will use it to eat, sleep, bathe and enjoy each other’s company.
