In a world where we are overly connected, i.e. messenger, myspace, facebook, text messaging and cell phones, we can still feel disconnected and all alone. So, how do we get connected? Why are we designed for relationship, and what does it mean to live in community.
We realize that no one is an island and that we are called to be one body. These thoughts are part of the vision of United Student Ministries. Community is a part of who we are as a youth group. We want students to see the value, and biblical truth of not journeying through our Christian walk alone. We will explore what it means to be a community of believers, and what it looks like to live in community.
United Varsity and JV students meet Wednesday nights at 6:45PM in the Dream Center Peoria building for a time of extended worship, a captivating message, in a laid-back fellowship environment.
United JV students meet Sunday mornings at 9:00AM and 11:00AM (during regular church services) for messages and worship geared to capture young people.
