Proverbs: Wisdom That Brings Life

September 12, we begin a new three week series entitled Proverbs: Wisdom That Brings Life. Please do not miss this ‘now’ word for you, as I kick off the series next Sunday. I have asked Rick Parsons, followed by our new campus pastor, Pat Sheets, to speak the following weeks on any of the proverbs they feel God lead them to.

Did you know that there are 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs? I am reading a chapter every day through the month of September (and will read two on the last day). I will also be blogging each day during the reading of Proverbs and you can find that on the Riverside news blog. You could start today and read a few chapters to catch up and read along with me for the rest of the month. It’s a wonderful book that has saved my spiritual life, as well as that of many others, by its wisdom. It’s my habit to read through the book at least once a year. As you hear this short series and read the book, too, you will find the wisdom millions of others have found over the years in its pages.

Riverside Community Church is located at the corner of Monroe and Hamilton Streets in downtown Peoria, in the former Shrine Theater. Our Main Campus is our primary location for services and events throughout the week. Located in the heart of Peoria’s downtown community, our campus is the hub of life at Riverside Community Church.

We provide Nursery for children newborn-2 years old, Preschool for children 3-5 years old, and Reaction for children in grades K-5 in both Sunday services.

Our 11:00AM Sunday service is interpreted for the Deaf.
